Fresh Manna "You don't understand. Now I'm a chef. I'm no longer a prostitute…" she said as she filmed the interview. I was standing off to the side and had put my hand up to protest when she graciously thanked us. But she had insisted. She said she needed to be able to do that. That was three years ago, after she had completed a culinary course through a Wellspring scholarship.

A Note from the Founder It has been said that writing makes an exact person. I wish it were as
easy to agree with that statement as it is to believe it. The truth is
that even in writing you have to be selective about what to include and
to discard.

One Call A recent question by one of my boys gave me yet another reason to reflect on the eternal significance of the seemingly daily grind that doing ministry can appear to be.

A Vision for Multiplication Writing to a young pastor, the Apostle Paul urged the young Timothy
to take the things he had heard and entrust them to reliable witnesses
who would be qualified to teach others (see 2 Timothy 2:1-2). Clearly,
the church across the ages and cultures has taken this charge seriously.
Here at RZIM, we do too.

Ravi's statement on the Manhattan Declaration In the current climate and direction of the nation's leadership as it pertains to the sanctity of life, sexuality, and marriage, there is a deep and disturbing sense of where we are headed.

ASU Report - October 28, 2009 The enlightenment is under threat. So is reason. So is truth. So is science, especially in the schools of America.

Ravi's Response to "Man Vs. God" Article in The Wall Street Journal In response to the essays presented by Richard Dawkins and Karen Armstrong in
"Man Vs. God" (Saturday, September 12),
I would add that the combination of Dawkins and Armstrong as presenting
two contrary views on the existence of God is in itself a "creative
act." For one, God is a fairy tale and for the other "at least it's a
nice fairy tale." One may as well have asked Bin Laden to write his
thoughts on America and then ask Chavez for a counter perspective.
Amazing. Even by today's media manipulations, that raises the
benchmark.

Message from the President-Summer 2008 Atlanta has a beautiful burst of pear blossoms and cherry blossoms in March and April, and it is the prettiest time of the year here. It has come and gone but other flowers will bloom. So we love springtime. For me, this year’s spring was also a time to prepare my heart and mind for the vitally important. . .

Update from Ravi - June 6 Dear Friends,
I am writing this just a little over two weeks
after my back surgery. So many of you have written or phoned and
prayed from all over the world and before I say anything else, I want
to thank you. I have been deeply touched by your love, your care and
your prayers. All of your prayers were needed and answered. One of the
pictures sent to me was of a group of children from the red light
district of Bombay. These kids are being cared for and given the love
of Christ by a most unusual man, his family and his team. The picture
said it all: These precious little ones with their eyes closed and
their arms raised, praying up a storm for my healing. How does one
adequately respond to such tender and determined faith? The Lord told
us all to become as one of them.

Ravi's Surgery Update- Thursday, June 5 Ravi continues to progress well in his recovery, in spite of the fact
that he heals more slowly than most people and seems to see recovery as
another challenge to overcome. But after a few mis-starts he is
learning to pace himself better and is really doing well in his
recovery, almost entirely with no pain medication. Massage therapy with
oils mixed specifically for him because of their healing properties
seem to be helping him immensely.

Please Pray for Ravi’s Surgery on Monday, May 19 From Ravi Zacharias:
Recently a doctor friend gave me the totally unexpected news, after he had seen my most recent MRI, that the surgery that was done in 2002 to fuse three discs in my lower back had actually not been successful and that there is no fusion. Not only that, the bolts that were in place to stabilize the back are loose. One thing led to another and a series of other tests, due to some new symptoms I am experiencing, was set in motion.

The End of Reason by Ravi Zacharias When Sam Harris wrote his book Letter to a Christian Nation, stating that
Christians display “murderous intolerance,” Dr. Ravi Zacharias felt called to
answer. The End of Reason is a clear and powerful response to the “utter
bankruptcy” of Harris’s New Atheism as it explains the true nature of God, the
foundation for evil in the world, and the basis of true morality.
